This series of 22 monographs is available for members of AMORC in or above the fourth degree. Kabala, which means tradition, is an esoteric and profound form of Jewish mysticism often associated with the Zohar, though also including several other works as well. It has a history dating back to the early centuries AD when the Sepher Yezirah was written, and possibly a lot earlier. Though theoretical and profound in nature, the Kabala is also thoroughly practical, giving insights into how to live. Although practical Kabala includes magic as practised by people in Europe and the Middle East in past centuries, theoretical Kabala is essentially nothing less than pure mysticism. Kabala as a whole then is applied mysticism.
