A number of organisations use the word "Rosicrucian" in their titles. Some are created by small groups who describe themselves as Rosicrucian, while others are created by private individuals who simply have an interest in Rosicrucianism. We are often asked if these other organisations are affiliated with the Rosicrucian Order. The answer is no, none of them are, though some try to pass themselves off as though they were in some way affiliated with us.
The terms "Rosicrucian Order" and "AMORC" have been used exclusively by us for over 100 years and are furthermore trademarked by us. They identify us as the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis or simply the "Rosicrucian Order", and no other organisation or group may legally identify themselves as the Rosicrucian Order.
The Rosicrucian Order began operating in its current form in 1915, and has affiliated lodges and chapters throughout the world in 19 different languages.
